Indo-Russian Cinemas Film Club Spotting Talents in Film Industry

This is Venkatesh Kumar.G (Filmmaker) writing in regards to spotting talents in the field of Art from Film Industry. I began my carrier with Short Films and Documentaries and now into Full Length Films.

I'm opening a Film Club named "Indo-Russian Cinemas" which will focus on highlighting talents from Short Films and Documentaries in India and Russia. This Club will function in association with Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Chennai.

This Film Club will screen Short Films and Documentaries of upcoming filmmakers on regular basis. Based on the entry of Short Films and Documentaries received, the films will be selected and screened for the public. This is an Initiative to promote and Highlight Filmmakers at their very basic level where they get a platform to showcase their works directly to the people. There will be no cost involved in the screening of films. We have planned to screen (5 to 6 Short films or 2
Documentaries ) at Regular Intervals.

This screening will serve as the first and bright path for upcoming film makers as their dreams will have a start here. Screening films which haven’t been screened anywhere would be the prime focus and some films which previously gained people's interest and Award Winning films will also be taken into consideration.

The Club will also conduct frequent workshops and seminaries on film making where you get to Interact with Filmmakers and technicians from all over the world.

The club will be Inaugurated on the 15th of May 2015 at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Chennai between 6 to 9 PM.To Kick start with we have planned to screen 5 Short Films for the public along with respective film makers.

This Club will continue its service as long as Cinema Lives.
