Radhika George says about Vaanavil Vaazhkai
Versatile can be the other name of Radhika. This teen queen from Cochin who is making her debut in acting with the movie Vaanavil
Vaazhkai. Radhika George is predominantly a percussionist since her
springtime. Having been graduated from all the eight grades in drumming
from Trinity college of Music London.
" I used to play percussion instruments like Drums, Darbukha. In
the film Vaanavil Vaazhkai, I am playing as Harini, a girl-like,
soft-spoken character with pony tails which is my extreme opposite to
the real life Radhika. I am the youngest in the Vaanavil Vaazhkai team,
everyone was so friendly", says endearing Radhika, an engineering pursuant.
Being
a new to acting it was difficult to bring out emotions and to deliver
the appropriate reaction. The most challenging scene I had in Vaanavil
Vaazhkai was to get afraid of a cockroach. Everyone was screaming as if
there was a cockroach but I find it very difficult to emote even after
many takes. We continued the same shot after a break James sir threw
real cockroaches to get me scared "
"Apart
from playing instruments and recording for the songs. I got new
friends. Acting in a movie that gives importance to music itself an
unforgettable beautiful experience for me. I would like to thank my
Producer and James Vasanthan for having the confident in me and giving
me this opportunity.", says the Multi-instrumentalist Radhika George.
