Music Director Sri Krishna says about Patra

‘Patra’ produced by GK cinemaas is all set ready for release on March 20. The film revolves around youth who were being attracted by anti-social groups for doing ruthless crimes. Debutant director Jayantan, a former associate of Sundar C is directing the film. The film features newcomers Mithunn, Vaidegi, Sam Paul and Pulipandi. Music of the film is composed by debutant Sri Krishna nephew of Grammy award winner Vikku Vinayakram.

“ Despite my Family’s Carnatic music base, I wanted to be music composer and got trained in western, classical and percussion. I was doing music for many short films, jingles and title track of many serials. I was happy when Director Jayantan offered me this film. This film is a racy romantic action film. All the five songs have different tone that attached to the flow of the scene”. Says Sri Krishna

“  Composing of the song “Annakili” is a memorable one. I always give tune and lyric writer will be penning  the lyrics for the tune. But Yugabharathi  sir wanted me to take the challenge of composing tune for the given lyrics and  gave me the ‘ Annakili’ song lyrics with film names as the first word of each line, director was also happy with the song. Everybody was standing  around and made me to do the tune but it was totally new to me and I got nervous. Later with a blind determination, I composed tune and it impressed everybody in the team. The whole composition of the song took over within 5 minutes. Background score has also come out  well. An impressive action film on the way folks “adds Sri Krishna the debutant music director.
