Director Jayanthan's Patra

Debutant director Jayantan’s ‘Patra’ is a film that revolves around youth who were being attracted by anti-social groups for doing ruthless crime activities. The film features newcomers Mithunn, Vaidegi, Sam Paul and Pulipandi in the lead. ‘Patra’ produced by GK cinemas is all set ready for release on March 20.

“ Patra is my debut Movie; I wanted my movie to be very realistic and very fresh so I was in a big hunt finding my casts. Finally I found Mithunn Dev the protagonist, Sam Paul for the antagonist and Veidhegi pairing mithunn. The both gelled up well to the story; my instinct said casting both the new faces will elevate the story and the same was even sparked well among all those who saw the film so far.

“I had to portray two extreme end villains, a high end don and a gangster who are under a politician as his accomplices. They both share a big screen space. Sam Paul was very much apt for the cold blooded gangster who sphere heads the gang of youngsters into abnormal activity. “says Jayantan.

“ Music director Sri Krishna has given the racy action thriller a sensible music.  cinematographer Sunoj Velayuthan had done a very commendable job for a tight screenplay.

Last but not the least the stunt master ‘Mirattal Selva have transformed the action sequences as realistic and perfection. The film is releasing on March 20 hoping for the best that audience would support and encourage us” adds Director jayantan with confident as his sign of energy.
