Review :

Thala Ajith’s most awaited movie “Yennai Arindhaal” after Veeram which was released for the last year Pongal. Thala fans are eagerly waiting for this film since 1 year. Yennai Aridhaal starring Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Anushka Shetty, Arun Vijay and Paravathy Nair. It was directed by Gautham Vasu Dev Menon and produced by the A.M.Rathnam and S.Aishwarya. Harris Jayraj composed music for this film. Editing was done by Anthony while Cinematography handled by Dan Macarthur. The movies comes with many specialties like Ajith is doing his 55th Movie and he will play in two different roles in Yennai Arindhaal.

This is the story of cop named Satyadev from the age of 13 to the age of 40 years. What are the consequences that he has faced to save his family from thee goons he faces because of his job forms the crux of the story. Trisha Krishnan played a role as Hemanika Satyadev’s wife. Other characters include Anushka as Thenmozhi, Arun Vijay as Victor and Vivek as Revolver Richard.

The story begins with Thenmozhi falling in love with Sathyadev. When Thenmozhi meets Sathyadev at a restaurant, a group of unknown people led by Victor(Arun Vijay) attacks them. Ajith fights back but gets injured. When Thenmozhi asks Sathyadev to explain what's happening around them, the flashback begins and thus reveals the connection between Sathyadev and Victor which forms the crux of the story.

Gautham Menon tight screenplay and handling flashback in the story-line worked well .Ajith’s emotional performance throughout the film especially in second half.  Arun Vijay who really done well with gangster role. Vivek performance good. Stunt Silva done a great job. Trisha who played fiance role to Ajith has elevated much with emotional love scenes and even Anushka too. Baby Anikha's performance is as natural. Harris Jayaraj's background score super. Dan Macarthur's cinematography is fresh and will provide a new experience.
