Review : 

Anegan is a romantic-thriller directed by K. V. Anand. The film stars Dhanush, Amyra Dastur, Aishwarya Devan and Karthik, with Ashish Vidyarthi and Jagan in supporting roles. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film's soundtrack and background score composed by Harris Jayaraj. Cinematography was handled by Om Prakash and editing was done by Anthony. The visual effects of the movie is handled by Endhiran fame V. Srinivas Mohan.

"Anegan" tells the compelling story with multiple layers. The movie begins with Samudra (Amyra) falling in love with Murugesan (Dhanush). Situations separate them but they came face-to-face a few decades later as Madhumita and Samudra. Cut to the present, there is Madhu (Amyra), a game artist, and Ashwin, a system lead in the same company, meet each other. What follows next is the thrilling turn of events in their lives that connects them to their previous characters.

The catch is that they never get a chance to live together. Why? There is a flashback and bit of mystery to be solved. Will the current couple live happy ever after? You have to watch the film to know that. The story telling style was quite fresh. The first half slowly builds the suspense and the knots are neatly opened as we move towards the climax. Dangaamari is a riot on screen.

KV Anand has to be appreciated for picking up a love subject and weaving an intelligent screenplay around it. Its Dhanush show all the way, again. He has done 4 good characters. He showed a variety of expressions and emotions to suit all characters. Amyra makes her debut in Kollywood. she was a breeze her cute expression. Aishwarya Devan is another debutant in the film. She plays an interesting role. Karthik with his salt and pepper look and actinsg super. Editing by Anthony was super sharp and tight. Om Prakash Cinematography was totally awesome. Music by Harris Jayaraj music and background score is good.

Verdict : Fiiled with lots of Love. A super Valentines day gift.
