Waiting for the FDFS - Dance Master Sathish

Continuously ringing phones, He is replying every other phone call filled only with thanks and glittering smile. We were clear enough to conclude that today is his birthday. Wished him with no second thought wished him ‘happy birthday and wonderful year ahead’.  With  the very same smile he exchanged thanks and some sweets.

With the release of 'Yennai arndhaal' around it’s going to be a wonderful year and Indeed a very special day today. Yennai Arindhaal  has been praised by the censor board. We fixed that this film would be a treat not just for Ajith sir’s fan but for everyone. I realized how huge the film when Ajith sir’s fans wishing me and discussing about the release of the film everywhere I go. I am keeping my fingers crossed to celebrate in the First show with Ajith Fans on February 5.“ said the Dance Choreographer  Sathish.

He also started to recall his ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ experience  “ I acted in ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’, that was the first time I got associated with Gautham sir. Later, he assigned me as choreographer in the film ‘Nethaanae En Ponvasantham” . Most of the time we used to get the same ideas co-incidentally. This is one of the reason that I got ‘Yennai Arindhaal’. At first I was having second opinions whether I could be able to handle such a big film that too with a great name like Ajith sir. But Gautham sir Encouraged me to go ahead saying It would fit my pattern of dance directing.

“As left to everyone’s imagination Athaaru… Athaaru…  is not only a friendship song. But it will also  show ‘thala’ in a ‘Vera level’. I always design a song with movements that I can do as ‘Plan A’ and modified version in accordance with the Actor’s limitation as ‘ Plan B’. When I narrated the Concept to Ajith sir, he interrupted and asked me ‘What was the original plan for this song?’ and said ‘Let us do like that’. I was astound on his mind reading capacity and he delivered the same way I wanted him to do.” Said the young choreographer.

“ ‘ Mazhai Vara Poguthe’ going to be one of the best in my career. I was mesmerized to see the song as if It was the first time I am watching. What else the you can expect from Ajith sir and Gautham Sir known to be “The Kings of romance “ when striking  together” he gladly explained and signed off with plenty of missed calls to reply.
