Velammal's Attempt to Limca Book of Records and Guinness Book of Records

‘Read for the  future’  -   A Mega Reading Session emphasising the need to inculcate the reading habit among the future generations was held on the 31^st  January,  2015 at Velammal  Matriculation Higher secondary school, TS Krishna Nagar,Mogappair.  The Mega event with the objective of young learners – listening to Read, To be better Readers had  1172 students of Std.IX   and Std XI reading a story to 1172 Kindergarten children.  The occasion was graced by Mrs. Sarasa Ashok, Trainer & Co-founder of Budding Minds International school.  The children were motiviated through her speech and a dance that symbolised the first steps in reading.
