Neha Ratnakaran about Ivanukku Thanila Gandam

Kerala, the land known for its exotic beach and backwaters. Adding value to its zenith, Malabar  region also being a place for many talents. Neha Ratnakaran who is from the beautiful Malabar region is debuting as a heroine in the film ‘Ivanukku Thanila Gandam’ pairing opposite Television fame Deepak. The film is being produced by VVR Cine Mask and directed by SN Sakthivel. The Malabar girl, who is in cloud nine about  briefed about her debut film experience.

“ I was doing modeling and ad films.  It fetched me many appreciation. I always wanted to try new things. So, I decided to try acting in films. I was curious to have my debut in Tamil, this is the place where people acknowledge talent in the first place. Tamil Nadu never let me down then. I got my first ‘Ivanukku Thanila Gandam’. I play a vibrant, bubbly, talkative character named Deepika. This role would definitely get me to the audience.” Says Neha, the Miss Malabar Runner-up.

“ My co-actor Deepak  very kind man. Even he is a senior for me in acting. He was so helpful. I was enjoying each and every day of shoot. The entire crew will be laughing around even if am telling a serious dialog. Yet, Sakthivel sir was repeatedly taught me how to improvise in every other shot.”

“ I have grown up from a place of abundance of water. I am not a water-phobic person. I am afraid of people who drink and drive rash. The title ‘Ivanukku Thanila Gandam’ is makes people crazier “ says Neha who got hiccups out of thirst.

“   This is a feel good film. I am very glad to be a part of this film. I would like to thank my producer and director who were very supportive.  I would like to extend my thanks to all the people who helped me throughout this film.” signed off, Neha, sipping a bottle of water to quench her thirst.
