Hawaizaada promo’s get a big thumbs up !

One of the movies to be creating a lot of buzz is Ayushman Khurana’s Hawaizaada. Ever since the promo has hit the screens, the makers have been receiving a lot of positive response from audience and industry people.

Directed by Vibhu Virender Puri, Hawaizaada is an inspiring story of the Indian scientist who is believed to have built and flown the world’s first unmanned aircraft, eight years before the Wright brothers and purely based on ancient Indian Vedic science, in 1895.

Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Pallavi Sharda and Mithun Chakraborty, director Vibhu Puri is ecstatic owing to the immense response he has been receiving all over. “Everyone within and outside the industry are appreciating the promos. I have been getting calls from some people like Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Saina Nehwal, Pritish Nandy, Vidya Balan, Parineeti Chopra and more. It gives me a lot of confidence and happiness.”

Apparently this also includes politicians and spiritual leaders who are happy that the story of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, an unsung hero has got prominence on the big screen. Unfortunately not much has been written or recorded about his life.

“I had to meet a lot of people and read a lot of books to study about this character. However my movie is not a biopic on him, but a fantasy film interwoven with real facts about the man who had flown the first aircraft.” Says the director.

Hawaizaada, presented by Reliance Entertainment and produced by Trilogic Digital Media Limited and Film Farmers Production, releases January 30.
