“Vaanavil Vaazhkai” A Musical Mother- S.Sowmya

Music Director James Vasanthan’s directorial debut “ Vaanavil Vaazhkai” has a big list of  young talents who are into Rhythm  and chords. It is an another debutant from the field of music, famous Carnatic Singer S. Sowmya who has engulfed the attention of small screen viewers with her curvy voice and blending tone. it’s time for the flourishing singer with numerous awards and titles to make her acting debut in the film Vaanavil Vaazhkai.

Sowmya says “Music being my Oxygen I couldn't deny acting in a movie grounded on music. I’m  playing as mother to Janani one of the lead roles in Vaanavil Vaazhkai. It was a second I missed a beat when I saw Janani for the first time, I felt I’m standing in front of a mirror and seeing myself in teen ”.

The reason to cast her is the character she plays is a singer and her resemblance to Janani. People in the set felt they were mother-daughter in real life. Sowmya did well at the shots like a professional actor” says James Vasanthan.
