'Vaanavil Vaazhkai' a college gala - says James Vasanthan

Music has always been an inevitable part of Tamil cinema. History reveals that films based on music or dance competition have done wellso far.

Films like Ninaithale Inikkum, Paruva raagam tasted victory for the joyful songs they had throughout the film. Music Director James Vasanthan’s directorial debut Vaanavil Vaazhkai is one such film with 17 songs .

“The film is all about rivalry between college music bands. The members of the bands playing the 11 leading characters . All the songs sung by the actors themselves. We have placed 17 songs that would engage the audience and also it goes with the script. The film is totally a college gala. This is a Musical film where the actors in the films sing, act and perform. It was my dream to direct a musical since college days” 

 “ We have spent nearly  two years in search of these 11 young talents who can be sing, play instruments and perform. These guys going glitter in the near future with the indomitable spirit they possess. This film would definitely entertain the youngsters. Vaanavil Vaazhkai has been planned to release on February 13^th as Valentine’s day Celebration” says elated James, the director and composer of the film.
