Vijay Sethupathy Launch Chocolicks Stills

Chocoholick in the city now have an exclusive hangout. A  one of a kind chocolate bar has just opened in the city’s Ispahani Centre Called  “Chocoholick" .The  pub  which opened it’s doors yesterday,  is a dream come true for true lovers of the Cocoa bean. Aimed at providing a unique, never before  experience, Chocoholick  is styled like a pub, where even the not-yet -18’s can enjoy chocolate goodies in an  elegant ambience.

The inaugural menu consists of 30 drool worthy  concoctions to tantalise the senses. Chocotails, Choco shots,  Popsicle fondue, Melting heart cake and shake, strawberry hazelnut crepe share space with classic European fondue ,chocolate chunks pizza and banana split waffle.  Savoury dishes like italian pastas,Mexican burritos,taco bells are also available. Guests can help themselves at self serve counter or avail of the full service menu, as per their preference. A “Chocolate shop” located within the premises, offers yummy treats like caramelized hazelnuts, chocolate thins,  colourful bonbons, huge chocolate bricks etc. Prices start at normal rates which attracts everyone.

“ While many outlets in the city sell chocolates and some even have cafes, we wanted to create an entirely new and sophisticated ambience where true chocolate lovers can converge,  age and gender not withstanding  and share their love for chocolate. We have attempted to create a new way to connect with chocolates . Enthusiasts  can exchange ideas, try making their own concoctions and try their hand at creating something special.” Said Sai Babu, Managing Director,  chocoholick.  On the anvil is a special range for diabetics. 

About the promoters:Chennai based Sai Babu Sathiya Naarayanan, is an engineer by profession who has studied in Chennai and Melbourne. He has worked as SAP Business Analyst in Accenture and Woolsworth Melbourne,Australia. Widely travelled and a true chocolate lover,  he came up with the concept of a chocolate pub, when he saw the growing love for chocolate in the city and a dearth of outlets which cater specifically to chocolate lovers.
