Review :

Poojai is directed by Hari and produced by Vishal. Vishal, Shruti Hassan, Sathyaraj, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Soori plays the lead roles. Mukesh Tiwari, Jayaprakash, Manobala, Sithara and many others are in the cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music, Priyan has handled the camera and VT Vijayan with TS Jai have taken responsibility of the editing department.

Vishal is running small level finance business in vegetable market for reasonable interest. He has many friends like Soori and others to associate him in this trade and Vishal enjoys huge support from all the quarters. Meanwhile Shuti Haasan happens to become his friend but Vishal falls in love with her. When Vishal expresses his love she asks about his status which can match to love her.

Mukesh Tiwari who runs all the anti social activities with political support plans to murder the honest police officer Sathyaraj where Vishal saves his life. Now this gang will be after Vishal to eliminate him but this Mukesh Tiwari happens to be his old rival to his family. Mukesh threatens the locals and wants to capture the Temple land which Vishal's father donated many years ago. Later Vishal joins with his family and fights back with Mukesh. How Vishal protects his family and eliminates the notorious Mukesh is the rest of the story.

Hari is known for churning out commercial entertainers at will. Vishal has performed very well and he delivered a pretty good performance in the film. Soori comedy super. Shruthi Hassan is looking great in the film. She is back to Tamil films after several days. Sathya Raj character also came out very well and he also supported the lead cast well his presence. Mukesh Tiwari is good in his villan role. The cinematography is handled by Priyan. The cinematography of the film is good. The music is done by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The music is a big let down but the BGM is good. Poojai an engaging watch by using his experience, but sadly the script is too weak. Overall Poojai makes a tedious watch.
