This film has abundance of creativity content and relatively lesser known names in the cast and crew list. 

'Kuttram kadithal ' has been nominated for the 14^th Zimbabwe international film festival to be held from 4th of October to 11th of October. It is no co incidence that the film is also selected for the 16th edition of Mumbai film festival to be held from 14th October to 21st October on the ' New faces in the Indian cinema' category... After "Aayiraththil Oruvan" and 'Aranya kandam", "Kuttram Kadithal' is the next Tamil movie to be screened in Mumbai Film Festival. 

The recognition the films gets in these prestigious festivals infuses pride to the makers and ensures the marketing visibility which becomes mandatory ' beams JSK with pride and confidence. The young Debutant Director Bramma.G explains his title.  'Kuttram kadithal' means admonishing the guilty or punishment. It is a single day life of five different characters of the society and the influence they have over each other's life.
