Review : 

Director S.N.Duraisingh  "Aalamaram", commercial & thriller movie. Hemanth Kumar and Avanthika play the lead roles. Its a story of the lonely Aalamaram in a village, where people believed that there is a ghost of karuthappandi residing in Aalamaram. Once upon a time, Karuthappandi was a dhadha, who ruled over the village. The people were afraid of him even after his death. They were afraid to go near the tree.

On that time, Malar (Avanthika) is coming with her family to the village for 10 days religious rites for her marraige. Karthik (Hemanth Kumar), a Koothu Kalaignar in that village unexpectedly meet the heroin and fall in love with her. Soon they both started loving each other and their love is being very strong. Meanwhile, hero's friend Sadaiyan who is crazy for money, has given assurance to two rowdies separately as he will get heroin to marry them and getting money instantly from them.

Karthik and Malar has made their love stronger by meeting near that lonely Aalamaram where everyone is afraid of the ghost Karuthappandi. After some time their love is exposed to their family and they accepted for their marriage. After hearing about their wedding preparation the rowdies were very angry and they are planning to kill Sadaiyan. And the climax,  Malar and Karthik got married or not? rowdies kill the Sadaiyan or not?

Director has failed to show the most thrilling part. Cinematographer Udhayshankar has tried give some shots in different angle  and some scenes were extraordinary. Ramjeevan's music and songs good. Hemanth Kumar and Avanthika Mohan performance not bad.
