Vairamuthu to Receive Malaysian Award Photos

Moondraam Ulga Por is the Tamil novel written by 'Kaviperarasu' Vairamuthu.This novel is credited by Malaysia-based Tansri KR Somasundaram Literature Foundation as the best Tamil Novel written in recent times.

A commitee of five profound scholars were appointed and they examined over 198 literary works from India, Srilanka, US, Canada, UK Australia and Malaysia. After thorough examination, the team announced that 'Moondram Ulaga Por' to be the best novel as it spoke about global warming. The novel seems to have very expressive technique and substance that would leave an impact for future years.

Talking about award, Vairamuthu said, "For me, this award is Gnanapeeth Award at the world level. The sad world of farming because of global warming and globalization is what I have conveyed through this novel. I would like to thank Donsri Soma Linguistic Literary Foundation for this award. They have rewarded me this for my hardwork and for my voice towards the support of Humanity"
