Firstly, let me give you a brief prole of our Association. RAJASTHAN YOUTH

ASSOCIATION or RYA was formed 51 YEARS ago in 1963 by a group of enterprising and service minded youth, mostly businessmen, who came together to foster fellowship, imbibe leadership and serve society selessly. Today, among our over 200 members, we have professionals in the elds of acc ountancy, engineering and business administration, technologists, lawyers, industrialists and entrepreneurs.

Our main service project, RYA BOOK BANK, started in 1964, is the one of the oldest and largest of its kind in INDIA. Under this project, over 87000 college students in Chennai, Chengalpettu and Kanchipuram have been loaned, Free of Cost, Text Books irrespective of their cast, creed or sex; thus helping them to complete their education without any hitch and without spending a single rupee on books.

· Vice Chancellors of MADRAS UNIVERSITY & ANNA UNIVERSITY and many other national

dignitaries and foreign diplomats, during our Annual book distribution function.

Our very own social institution 'RYA FOUNDATION' is engaged in various social causes all over Tamil Nadu, taking care of the needs of various old age homes, orphanages, Cancer Institute and NGOs all over Chennai.

Our afliates RYA METRO - which runs FOOD BANK (having served over 1 Crore free meals to the needy) - and RYA COSMO - which runs MEDI BANK (providing free medicines and health services to lakhs of people) - are continuing our tradition to serve the needy and down trodden of our society.

Rajasthan Youth Association (RYA) CAREER FEST Job Fair project was held today at OLYMPIA TECH PARK, Guindy, Chennai.

RYA Career Fest was inaugurated by Shri Navaratanmull Chordia (Chairman – Khivraj Motors Ltd)

Traditional Kuttuvilakku was lighted by Shri Narendra Srisrimal (Chairman – Medi Sales India Ltd)

More than 1500 students registered and participated in Job fair seeking employment. More than 60 companies came forward including Top Multi National Corporate houses namely Maruti, HDFC Ltd, Toyota, Sundaram Finance, Kotak Mahindra, Lanson, Vasan Eye Care and several other IT, ITE's and Real Estate Developers to provide placements to the deserving students.

RYA Career Fest was conducted under RYA Educational Trust with Shri Bharat Chordia as Chairman – Job Fair Project and Shri Arvind Bokadia – Chairman, Book Bank Project.

RYA President, Shri Rajendra Bokadia welcomed and addressed the gathering. He informed that RYA has been involved in providing free distribution of college text books for more than FIVE decades and now it has come with a step forward of conducting job fair for its beneciaries. He also assures that this will be an annual event therby Providing a – “Complete Solution for Students at RYA”.

RYA Secretary Shri Prakash Jain proposed vote of thanks to the entire RYA team for their dedicated and untiring effort to make this job fair a grand success.
