Review :
Naan director Jeeva Shankar directed his second film Amara Kaaviyam. Actor Aarya's brother Sathya who is a hero of this film. Beginning of this film, Jeeva was taken to the police van. At that time, he is thinking about his past in his life. The flash back starts here. It is a form of 1988 type film.
Actor Jeeva was studying 12th standard in Ooty School. His friend Balaji and Actress Karthiga who studying the same class with Jeeva. Balaji was loving Kaarthiga one sidely, but the thing is Balaji's father and Kaarthiga's father are both friends. So he thinks that if he proposed to her, his father come to know and there will be problem. So Balaji seeked help to Sathya to tell his love in behalf of him to Kaarthiga that he is loving him.
Sathya went for Balaji and told to Kaarthiga, but Kaarthiga refuses and says that she is loving Sathya and also she gave him one day time to think and say the positive thing for her love. Sathya takes one day and he also finally proposed to Kaarthiga.
Cinematography plus direction was beautifully taken over by Jeeva Sankar, but he cannot have the same thing in Story and dialogues. Then as usual, Love, story, sudden break in this film, what happening to their lives and remaining of the story was beautifully taken over by Kaarthiga.

With beautiful music, Music Director Jipraan has scored a good one and also he scored on back ground music. Totally Amarakaaviyam is a very plesant melody.
