Review :

"Aadama Jaichomada", at two hours, which I think is the film's biggest strength, attempts to be a crime-thriller as well as a sports-based comedy.

Booking in cricket is rampant across the nation and bookies from different parts of the country are being arrested. However, the leading bookie of Tamil Nadu - Albert, is still on the loose. The Tamil Nadu Police department is on a high alert to capture this bookie, before a very high profile match is going to take place in Chennai.

Panneer, the taxi driver, is hired by Dayalan, and the two drive all around the city, meeting important personnel regarding the game. In their journey Dhayalan learns from Panneer that he is in immense debt which has kept him separated from his wife Rama, and Dhayalan offers to help Panneer settle his bills.

The next day, Dhayalan is found murdered in his room and the blame is on Panneer. Panneer is confused and scared, which is when he is abducted from inspector Bhoominathan by police force from another state! Confusion gets bigger, a lot of people are involved and all they have is a day left for the big match day which means money. How all the characters are linked, how they get their share in betting despite having no clue and most of all, who killed Dhayalan, forms the crux of the story.

Another fantastic element is the inclusion of ‘Sooravali’, the ridiculously funny track that blends perfectly with the storyline. Karunakaran, is excellent as Paneer, he convinces us thoroughly. Bobby Simha is such a delight to watch. R.S.Ravikumar, Narean, Chetan and Balaji are perfectly cast in their roles. For a short runtime, the film manages to win you over, and undoubtedly one of the most-entertaining film.

Verdict : Aadama Jaichomada is sure to win the game

Rating : 3/5
