Velaiyilla Pattathari, the much awaited Tamil movie starring Dhanush hit theatres in theatres on Friday. Before we tell you the reasons to watch or not watch the movie, let's take a look at the production crew.

Velaiyilla Pattathari is touted to be a comedy drama

The film is about unemployment among youth. Velaiyilla Pattathari is a comic take on how jobless youngsters get frustrated.

The highlight in the movie is that Dhanush has penned the lyrics of all  the songs in the movie. Dhanush has even crooned a couple of songs, one with Kollywood's musical sensation Anirudh Ravichander. Listen to 'what a karavad' song sung by the lead actor whose "Why is Kolaveri" was a super duper hit not only in India but across the globe

"Velai Illa Pattathari" deals with the issue of unemployment. Raghuvaran (Dhanush) has been jobless for four years after completing his bachelor's degree in civil engineering. His father (Samuthirakani) considers him as a loser, but Raghuvaran gets support from his mother. Whereas, his brother Karthik earns well in an IT company.

Raghuvaran falls in love with his neighbour Shalini (Amala Paul) who also has a good job and earns a hefty pay packet. Till the interval point, the film focuses on these characters after which it is all about how the unemployed Raghuvaran rises up against all odds.

The movie is about the civil engineer who is without employment and finally gets a project to work on ! And the difficulties he faces to complete the project. Songs were pretty good from anirudh. Camera was also good. Danush was excellent! So were the dialouges! And samuthirakani shud hav been used better! 

The villain was rightly called "amul baby" The movie could have been better overall. The engineers and the VIPs Like this movie Much.
