Amirta International Institute Of Hotel Management Joins Hands With Sheffield College Of Australia For Career Concert 2014


Chennai: Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management, Chennai joins hands with Sheffield College of Australia organized a `Career Concert 2014’ at GRT Grand Hotel, Chennai on Tuesday (22-7-2014)
While speaking on the occasion Mr. Daljit Monga, Group CEO, Sheffield College, Australia said, the Memorandum of understanding between Sheffiled College and Amirta would provide world class Hotel Management education to the students of India. Chris Casey, VP, Quality Assurance & Compliance, Australia said that the efforts taken by Amirta institute to provide quality hotel management studies to their students were amazing. He further appreciated the Amirta institute for their commitment to their students for taking them abroad.

Speaking on the occasion MR.Boominathan, Administrative Director, Amirta International Hotel Management said everyone are aware that the hard work taken by our institute to provide with quality training in Hotel Management.

Our institute creates hope among the marginalized people; they can obtain studies in foreign soils and jobs too. The students who studied in Amirta are already working at India’s best 5 and 7 star hotels, observed Mr.Boominathan.

As Per The new system introduced by Amirta, students of three year streams would study their final year programme in Malaysia and Australia. This year as many as 300 students will fly to Malaysia and Australia.
From the next academic year 300 students will be sent to Malaysia and another 300 will fly to Australia.

Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management is  introducing a new three year Hotel Management Course from current academic year, said Mr.Boominathan. Students enrolled in this stream will study their second year in Malaysia and third year in Australia. Students can earn through part-time while they are studying this course, added Mr.Boominathan.

Apart from this Amirtha has been introduced BBM, MBA, Hospitality Management courses, said Mr.Boominathan.
