The Medical Park PLEC Charity Campaign Launch Photos



As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, The Medical Park launched the Pa Leo Enclave Campaign (PLEC) on 30.03.14. UK Actress Denise Welch was happy to launch the charity campaign in the presence of many dignitaries. Dr. Jeya Prakash, the chief aesthetic surgeon and age management consultant at the Medical Park threw light on the the scope and mission of the campaign. Specialist on Ayurveda Prof. Dr. Vishwanata Sharma and Prof. Dr. Ravi Chelvan and Specialist on Siddha Prof. Dr. Kanakavalli addressed the gathering and media on the importance of healthy Paleo Diet and lifestyle. Denise Welch shared her views on healthy life and living and overcoming difficulties in life. This was followed by lunch which was a showcase of the Paleolithic Diet.

PLEC - Memorandum of Charity

The charitable campaign is based on an awareness of the importance in creation and adaptation of Paleolithic nutrition based on Siddha, Ayurvedha and naturopathy with evidence of Vedic sciences and its correlation with modern science. The campaign enlightens the importance of genetics and epigenetics, with an environmental and personal life health campaign. The charity is focused on education, research and therapeutic trials. A

PLEC - Mode of programme

Education at Primary and Secondary schools for children through animated videos and reading material like leaflets, educating  students at colleges through lectures and seminars, thereby creating awareness of preventive health through ancient diet and exercise systems.

Having a series of lectures and workshops for corporates and offices to apply this on a routine basis for subsequent participation in the program.

Conducting smaller studies and research in collaboration with the ICMR and NIE in relation to ancient Vedic sciences and revalidation of it with modern tools and knowledge.

Arrange social programmes in association with radio, television, newspaper and the internet.

Awareness and knowledge sharing regarding authentic Indian way of living in a modern world such as cookery classes, yoga and meditation, in association with nutrition to balance hormones and neurochemicals.
