Nayantara Visits Hindu Sacred Sites


Nayantara, who is a Malayali Syrian Christian by birth, has been visiting some of the holy places of the Hindus. The actresss has been busy shooting in her project with Jayam Ravi in Dehradun for her forthcoming film. After covering up her portions, she took time to visit temples in and around the Himalayas like Haridwar, Rishikesh etc. She also paid a visit to the Lakshman Jhula, Neelkanth Mahadev, Sapta Rishi Ashram and Sapt Sarovar.

Nayantara was born to Malayali Syrian Christian parents Kurian Kodiyattu and Omana Kurian. Her original name was Diana Mariam Kurian. She converted to the Hinduism in 2011 at Arya Samaj temple in Chennai. It is believed that her change in religion was largely influenced by her ex-boyfriend Prabhu Deva, who had plans to marry her before breaking up with her for some reasons.

Meanwhile, Nayantara is making a steady raise in her career graph with back-to-back hits to her credit. The success of Raja Rani and Arrambam have taken her to the new heights.
