The Excellent charactor role Actor Nasser celebrates his 56th birthday today! He is one of the actors who lives the characters he plays. He has has acted in more than a hundred films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and English. Though he made his debut with K. Balachander's Kalyana Agadhigal, he shot to fame only with Nayagan. He also ventured into direction with Avathaaram, Devathai, Maayan and Pop Corn. The actor, who passed with gold medals from two acting schools - South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce's Film Institute and the Tamil Nadu Institute for Film and Television Technology, took up odd jobs like a security guard, salesman and waiter, to stay in Chennai and look for opportunities in Tamil Cinema.
