Mr. Tadahiko Sumitani is the MD of Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (100% subsidiary of Konica Minolta, Inc, Japan) with more than 30 years of experience in the printing industry. Mr. Sumitani started his career with Minolta in Japan and has been instrumental in strengthening the business in various parts of the world. He has spent more than 13 years in Europe with 7 years as European Head of Sales & Marketing.

Mr. Sumitani has experienced various transition phases in the digital printing industry from the start which was predominantly dominated by Offset. After the integration between Konica and Minolta in 2003, KM became much stronger with Konica’s chemical technology and Minolta’s colour management know-how.  After the service in Europe, he shifted back to Japan as GM of Overseas Sales.

Mr. Sumitani took the challenge to start the operations in India and started Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd in 2010, thereafter it has been achieving milestones quarter on quarter and currently Konica Minolta operations in India are looked upon as a benchmark within Konica Minolta worldwide.

Mr. Sumitani has been instrumental in enabling the India operations to touch new heights. As part of its continued commitment towards offering superior consumer experience, Konica Minolta the market leader in printer industry has expanded its A4 printer family by launching all new Pagepro1580MF which is a monochrome laser multifunctional printer. The product is equipped with printing speed of 20 papers per minute, supports 16 MB memory and can be used for A4, letter, B5, A5, A6, executive size printing. An easy-to-use printer, it allows functions such as copy settings colour scanning and job cancel at the touch of a button. The compact printer has an in-built colour scanner and can be easily integrate into any small office or home setting.
