Having crossed the milestone of 100 episodes, ‘Kaayidham’ is successfully marching ahead and receiving great appreciation from the viewers. The lead characters Parvathi and Jega face further challenges in the weeks to come. 

Parvathi starts getting affectionate with Abhi, daughter of Lawyer Vaseegaran who had helped her get a job. Parvathi who interacts closely with Vaseegaran is suspected by everybody of having a relationship with him and this upsets her a lot. Meanwhile, Vaseegaran’s aunt decides to get him married again and the proposal meets opposition from Abhi and Vaseegaran. This further fuels the suspicion about Parvathi’s relationship with Vaseegaran among others. Just when everyone expects both of them to get married, Parvathi unearths some irregularities in the mill which ends up creating more complications in her life. With Abhi also going missing at the same time, Parvathi is highly traumatized.

Jega is under bondage to Murugayyaan for having signed as guarantor for a friend’s loan. For having questioned his dubious practices, Jega’s wife Jacqueline and his mother are abducted and kept in captivity by Murugayyan. Unable to find them, Jega is mentally and physically exhausted by the ordeal. Murugayyan plots to send Jega behind bars on some pretext or the other. At this time, Jega’s mother cries for help appealing to her son. Meanwhile the pair of Macchakalai and Shenbagam who are in love and leading a carefree life also face a sudden crisis in their lives.
