Happy Birth Day Pizza Boy

Director Karthik Subbaraj who redefined the meaning of horror cinema with his debut film Pizza, celebrates his birthday today.

Karthik Subbaraj became popular as a short film director by winning the Best director Television channel. Impressed by his short films, producer C.V.Kumar  opened the doors of Tamil film industry to him by offering a film under his banner. He debut as a director the film Pizza starring Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan. The film was a super hit of the year 2012 and also received many awards and recognition.

Now Karthik is ready with his second film Jigarthanda that has Sidharth and Lakshmi Menon playing the lead roles. The film is expected to hit the screens in April.
