A precious reward In The Form Of Letter for Director Ram

One of wonderful film in tamil cinema industry Thangameengal directed by Ram in which he played one of the lead role as a Father released last year.

The film which traced the affection between a father and his daughter also spoke about the stress incurred by some children studying in convent schools.

The film despite receiving many awards and recognition did not end up in huge profits. However Ram has received precious glory in the form of a letter. Rrecently a letter was sent to Ram's office which came from Headmaster of a Government aided school operating in Erode district.

In the letter that Headmaster has stated that after watching Thangameengal he made an announcement in the school assembly meeting   asking everyone studying in the school to watch the film in a nearby theater.

The headmaster has also mentioned in his latter that after watching the film. 13 students from a nearby private school that attracts students with English education have shifted to his school and they have been named as 'Thangameengal' by the school authorities.

Also fish images were pasted in the school Identity cards of those 13 students.  The performance of these 13 students in every term in being monitered and published in special bulletins.
