CURTAIN RAISER-

It was in the year 2010 that ‘Despicable Me’ entertained and enthralled the audience around the globe regardless of their age, grossing $540 million thereby becoming the 

10^th biggest animation motion picture in the U.S. history. Encouraged by its astounding success, the makers decided to create a sequel and it has taken them nearly over three years to come up with this             

3 D CGI film which is based on the characters created by the famous trio- Sergio Pablos, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. Gru, the hero of the original film who seemed more a villain, returns to reprise that character but this time, there are more of shades of good too! Gru who had given up his old world ways of life is now on to business that throws open opportunities for him to earn new friends, of course, enemies included! Get ready to join Gru in the new journey which turns out to be a roller coaster ride!

SYNOPSIS-

Having given up his despicable ways, Gru (Steve Carell) now wants to lead his life with his three adorable daughters- Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), the eldest who at times tantrums pertaining to her age, Edith (Dana Gaier), the middle daughter who is very mischievous and is particular to join her dad in his secret assignment. 

The third and the last one, Agnes (Elsie Fisher) is the most adorable and cutest one is actually the heart beat of the family. Things take a new turn as Gru is shortlisted by a secret organization to come on board to collaborate with Lucy (Kristen Wiig) in order to nab a super villain- Eduardo (Benjamin Bratt) who has his own other interests! Gru has to help nab the villain as well as protect the interests of his daughters!
