Storyline :
Ganesh (Lagubaran) is a guy who turns saint
at a young age in Palani. Bhagyaraj, who is a senior person and guide to the
young saints, asks the reason to Ganesh on why he chose this life at a very
young age. From, here the flashback rolls over. Ganesh falls in love with a
girl Savitha, who has a strange wish. She and her friend Kavitha plan to marry
the same guy so that their friendship will last forever. So, between these two
friends Ganesh gets caught and ultimately decides to hide from both of them.
What happens next? Did the girls get what they want or did Ganesh escape from
them?
Review :
Bhagyaraj is undoubtedly the best performer
among the lot. Lagubaran and Swathi are still beginners and they don’t impress
us much with their acting.
Songs scored by Hariharan are good. The
background score fits the mood of the scenes well and is quite sensible.
The storyline is as thin as a wafer which
is a main ley down to the film. The idea of two girls planning to marry a guy
sounds quite different, but the execution and screenplay of the film has let it
down.
For a film with this sort of story, humor
plays a major role. This is another failure which makes the film less
interesting. Comic portions by master Bharath is not very funny, but worth
smiling at times.
The film has too much of support cast which
proves to be a waste as they add no value to the film in sort.
Verdict : Oruvar Meethu iruvar Sainthu a New Try
Rating : 3/5
