SYNOPSIS- Written and wielded by the Academy award winner, Quentin Tarantino, the screenplay of the this latest installment projects Django as a slave whose brutal history with his former owners, lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) who is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. Schultz promises to set Django free if he helps capture the Brittles – dead or alive. Django earns his freedom by succeeding in his attempt and as a next move Schultz sets out in search of South’s most wanted criminals with Django by his side. Django remains focused on finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), his wife he lost to the slave trade long ago. Django and Schultz’s search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), the proprietor of “Candyland,” an infamous plantation. After entering and exploring the compound Django and Schultz arouse the suspicion of Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson), Candie’s trusted house slave. If Django and Schultz are to escape with Broomhilda, they must choose between independence and solidarity, between sacrifice and survival…  In this new version, Franko Nero plays a small role as Amerigo Vassepi, an owner of a slave engaged in Mandingo fighting with a slave owned by Leonardo DiCaprio's character. Upon the loss of that fight, Vassepi goes to the bar for a drink and encounters Django, played by Jamie Foxx. As a mark of respect to the character of Django , Vassepi asks Django his name, asks him to spell it, and, upon Django's informing him that the "D" is silent, says "I know."
