A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD

Curtain Raiser:  One of the famous film franchises of Hollywood, the ‘Die Hard’ series is a marvelously memorable action adventure through which Bruce Willis has already carved a niche for himself as an inimitable action star by enacting the role of the super cop, John McClane who is known for his special ways for settling scores with his adversaries. It has been a quarter of a century since that dare devil cop came up on board on the ‘Die Hard’ film franchise, setting new standards in the action genre, that which is still it is going steady in a manner that is as effective as ever! Ever since the very first ‘Die Hard’ outing, there have been four installments so far and this one-’A Good Day to Die Hard’ is the fifth in the series. The ‘die hard’ fans of the ‘Die Hard’ franchise can be rest assured that this one will be very different from the previous films in terms of locales and scope as evidenced by the fact that with the release of each of the installments, as the throttle went up high to offer more of thrills showcasing unexplored, virgin locales with some stunning yet stylish action slots shot brilliantly as well as breathtakingly!

Synopsis:  Set in the backdrop of Russia, as the scene of setting, this 5^th installment begins with John’s journey to Moscow and his ’mission’ this time is to get his son, Jack out of prison. Not before long, John gets to know of the intensity of the situation in which his son has got entangled with! Realization dawns upon him about the depth of the web into which his son has been caught up, that too, in a very complicated manner! As a matter of fact, Jack McClane is a highly trained CIA operative out to probe into a possible nuclear weapons heist and the most interesting aspect of this situation is that John isn’t exactly aware of Jack’s real identity! The McClanes have now to move up in their own opposing ways with the Russian underworld in hot pursuit to thwart the attempts of the conspirators with the countdown for a war already on!
