Debutant Sneha Britto has chosen director SA Chandrasekhar's Sattam Oru Iruttarai for her entry into Kollywood and we must say that she had made a decent attempt. The casting includes Thaman, Bindu Madhavi and Piaa Bajpai as the leads besides SA CHandrasekha's cameo.

Storyline :
The film as we all know is about an angry youngster who sets off for his revenge against a group of baddies in the society who have personally affected him. In this version, the protagonist takes revenge for his love. Vijay (Thaman) is portrayed as a man  on a mission, who accomplishes them with the help of his finds. Reema Sen plays the police commissioner, who handles the murder cases. Bindhu Madhavi and Piaa Bajpai are treated as mere stress relieves and have nothing much to do to the story.

Thaman, who made his debut in 'Aachariyangal' has done a decent job in all the departments. Bindhu Madhavi and Piaa Bajpai look cute on screen, but they have nothing much to do to the script. Reema Sen's character could have been woven quite better. Small screen fame Erode Mahesh has done a good job in providing comic relief.

There are a few lacking points in the film which contribute to the bad narration. The director has missed out on logic behind murders and in the sequences where police investigate on the crime.

Vijay Antony has given a good album for the scrpt. His music binds well with the film's narration and the background has helped in maintaining the film's mood. C.J. Rajkumar’s cinematography is another technicality which adds value to the film. Rajkumar has hand held the camera which has helped in bringing out the intensity of the scenes.

On the whole, Sattam Oru Iruttarai is a decent attempt from debutant Sneha Britto, but way far from good.
