Gabbar Sing Review and Rating Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Sing Movie Story
Pawan Kalyan back with a bang
Unleashing a powerhouse performer powerstar
First half of the film is highly entertaining. The film has 80% Pawan Kalyan and 20% rest of the cast. Pawan Fans will go into raptures of delight with his comedy, punch dialogues and mannerisms. He is excellent as always in the action sequences and he has performed some mass dances this time around.
References episodes (Kushi, Muta Mesthri and Jalsa) are hilight the way Pawan tells him ‘samba raasuko' is hilight. He is bound to draw the crowds with his comic-timing, energetic performance and popular dancing. He is bound to draw the crowds with his comic-timing, energetic performance and popular dancing.
In a deviation from the Hindi version, director Harris Shankar sheds the grey shade of Salman Khan’s corrupt cop act and makes Pawan an upright cop.
Gayathri of 'Happy Days' fame acted in a surprising role.
Shruti Hassan has played her part well and her dubbing has been very poor. Although Pawan carries the film entirely on his shoulders, there is nothing to write home about his onscreen chemistry with Shruti. She is wasted in a role where she has little to do apart from smiling and looking gorgeous.
Abhimanyu Singh's performance is artificial.
Tanikella Bharani, Nagineedu, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Suhasini Maniratnam are ordinary. Rao Ramesh is good in a brief role. Ali and Brahmanandam are hilarious in their limited roles. Ajay's performance is OK
The cop falls in love with Shruti Hassan who runs a store and takes on the might of the local goon (Abhimanyu Singh). Abhi-manyu’s dream to contest the Assembly polls is scuttled by Pawan, but Abhi-manyu decides to take the help of Pawan’s brother.
The dialogues by Harish Shankar are fantastic and catchy. Editing by Gowtam Raju could have been better.
Cinematography by Jayanan vincent has been brilliant. Devi Sri Prasad's music and background score is an asset for Gabbar Singh.
Fights by Ram Laxman are amazing and powerful.
Gabbar Singh Feast to the Fans
