Udumban Movie Review and Rating

It’s a rare occasion that filmmakers makes films to deliver a social message but “Udumban”, is such kind of a film which deliver a very important message for the audience.

Udumban(Delip Rojer) is a thief always use to have a Udumbu(monitor lizard) with him which is very useful while stealing. One day when he went to steal he comes to know that he may steal much money by running a school so then he starts a school but when he gets arrested under a case his brother kaalai took over the school under his control and make it big in such 6 months by getting big amount of fee from the people.

Isaipriya(Sana), a graduate student who works on a project based on the Matriculation schools and their education joins as a clerk in the school and gather all the information when kaalai comes to know this he tries to kill her but udumban saves her from him.

Then Udumban starts developing a government school in that area and makes the students study there with good education system.

Then how his brothers illegal activities gets revealed and how his life ends is the climax of the film.

Delip Rojer , the bike racer who proved his best in the racing field also proved the same in the acting sector with his realistic acting also Sana has made her part well. Other actors Sunil, Sellakkuri, Kambam Meena had done their part well.

The Music composer has given good songs but fails in re-recording. Cinematography is the plus point for the fiilm even the night sequences has shot very clear and editing is good.

The Director Balan has taken a very important concept for this film and we believe that the film will make a change in the society.
