Rado is back in India as Official Timekeeper of the Aircel Chennai Open


Rado’s 2015 tennis tour continues with the Aircel Chennai Open. Held at the SDAT Tennis Stadium in Chennai, the hard court tournament will take place from 5th – 11th January, with Rado as Official Timekeeper for the 3rd consecutive year.

Since 1996, the Aircel Chennai Open brings talented players from around the world to the largest tennis event in India. As Official Timekeeper, Rado will be on centre court with two corner clocks in the shape of the Rado HyperChrome timing every second of every match, as well as measuring the speed of every serve, for both the men’s singles and doubles tournaments.

The official watch of the tournament is the Rado HyperChrome Court Collection in blue representing the hard court that the Chennai Open is played on. Made in matt black high-tech ceramic with a monobloc case construction the watch is light, comfortable to wear and scratch-resistant, ideal for a day of tennis whether you’re on court or a spectator. In conjuction with this tournament, Rado will have an ATP tour player to launch the complete collection of the HyperChrome Court on 7th January, selected lucky tennis enthusiasts will even have the chance to learn some trick shots from the professional player.
